Those of you who are up and running with this: I hope you continue to have fun and that SE helps you experience a quick and creative method for working with your audio! If you are using a legacy version of Cubase and know of a plug-in that you can route MIDI to, please send me an e-mail using the e-mail link in my profile and tell me what version of Cubase (or whatever host) you're using and what plug-in so we can further research compatibility. We basically say to the host, "Hey, we have a MIDI input," and the host needs to recognize that.
If a host can't route MIDI to a plug-in (and not every version of every host can), there's nothing we can do to make Stutter Edit compatible. Pretty much anything that's in the quick start guide, we've looked at Stutter Edit in at least the latest version.
